Swim // Tee (sold out) // Sunnies // HAIR EXTENSIONS

Okay guys! I'm talking all about my hair extensions today and my experience with them. So first of all I LOVE hair extensions. My natural hair is pretty long but  it's crazy what an extra few inches and thickness can do for you. I feel way more confident when I have hair extensions:)

Clip ins!

For years and years I used clip in hair extensions.. loved them! They didn't take very long, I'd say probably 5 mins to put them in but after years of putting them in I'd get a bit tired of it and at the end of each day I just wanted them out!!

Tape In's!!

This is what I really want to touch on because I recently tried tape ins (first time ever with something more permanent so I was nervous I wouldn't like them) and I just LOVE them more than anything!! They changed my life! Before I got them my biggest worry was that I'd get irritated by them and want them out at night. I also was worried about the up keep and having to move them up, things like that.. And expense!! You guys I am so cheap when it comes to this stuff.. you'd be shocked!

There are things you should spend money on and things you shouldn't and I'm a firm believer now that tape ins are one of those things that you spend the money on!!

Pro's
Why they are so incredibly amazing.. basically I can't tell you in a post but!
1.  The biggest for me is when you touch my head you have no idea I have extensions in. My clip ins were soo bulky compared to these.

2. I can't tell I'm wearing them at all, I can't feel them. My clip in's would pull on my head a little bit throughout the day and sometimes painful.
3. I thought I'd want to take them out at night and I'm perfectly fine at night
4. I thought I'd feel like I couldn't brush my hair.. It's totally fine brushing my hair, I don't bush hard on my scalp and it's fine

5. Putting your hair up: for the most part all the tape ins are hidden. If there is a little bit of one showing I just adjust my hair over it before tying it up.

Con's
1. Really the only con for me and it's totally not a big deal, is when I wash my hair you can't use conditioner on your scalp, you just put it on your ends.

How to get them!

I buy my hair from Honey Hair Extensions they are the cheapest that I've found at the highest quality of hair that you can get. You can buy them and bring them to your stylist, I use two packs! You can also buy them if you are a stylist! And as for putting them in, I go to @hairbykami in Orem, UT I go to her for my color too, she's amazing!

I'm FINALLY posting about our Hawaii trip. Life's been busy and my blog comes after Aniston and my shop soo.. it gets put on the back burner to often haha. This was our first day in Hawaii! We woke up and went for a walk and watched the sunrise and then just played in the water. We stayed at Aulani Disney Resort. A lot of my followers had questions about the resort so here's what we thought! (and by the way, this isn't a collaboration! I never really do collaborations so that I can give honest reviews or not review at all if I didn't love something)

We really liked Aulani, the customer service was amazing! I think that's probably similar throughout the island though, everyone is so nice. For me when I'm going to hawaii I just have it in my head that when I  walk off the plane there's going to be someone there giving me a lai and my favorite thing about Aulani was I walked in and they welcomed me with a lai haha. They have their own private cove so the beach is so awesome, and they have sand toys, paddle boards, snorkeling... lots to do. I also loved that it wasn't windy, more towards turtle bay area it gets windy. We did venture off the resort a little bit but you don't have to. North Sore is fun to see but there's a lot you can do at the resort. There's a pizza place across the street that delivers to the resort. And there's a super yummy ice cream place across the street as well!

It's a super fun resort with kids! They have everything you can imagine! I know adults that don't have kids still love staying there but if you want more of an older resort there's a really nice Marriott right next door!

Top (coming soon)// Sunnies // Denim // Sandals // DiaperBag

(I feel like sometimes Zara's quality can be super cheap, these sandals are nice!!)

A's Outfit // Shoes // Bracelet

Okay you guys I've tested out a lot of strollers, my favorite is the Tavo I think. It's super nice, folds down super easy and it's compatible with my carseat which I LOVE!! Also! it has a shade cover built in which is a must for the sun but also when they fall asleep. I also love the nuna mixx for my house and walks around the neighborhood, it's not as convenient for running around doing errands like the Tavo bc you have to take the two parts apart when packing it in the car but it's super nice! And baby cubby is getting the new version!! I have the older one so I'm sure there are lots of new features I just haven't looked into it yet.

I wanted to do a post about this store (Babycubby.com) bc I shop at this store so much and every time I go in I learn something new that they do or have. They have a store front or you can shop them online, I've done both and probably more online bc it's so convenient. Below are some of my favorite things!

-When I was pregnant I had no idea what I needed and I went in here and they just had all the necessities in one spot. I saw things and got things that I totally didn't think to get or that I needed. They do a ton of research on their products so they only carry the best which is great bc I can shop confidently when I don't have time to research.

-They price match! Even amazon! You guys know how much I love amazon but I love shopping local and supporting small businesses even more especially if it's the same price.

-They have all the cute up to date brands, naturesutten, Comotomo, bracelets, pacifier clips and again all priced matched!

- Free shipping on orders over $50 too easy to do..

This page was super helpful for me when I was registering and picking things

I really just feel like there isn't another store out there like this that provides so much info on their products that I had to share it so I hope it's helpful for you moms and soon to be moms!!

Secret To My $13 Lashes

Posted · 15 Comments
If you know me I love doing things myself to save a little money. I can't justify spending $200 on lashes.. for some people it's totally worth it and great! For me, I don't like the time that getting mine done takes up and I'd rather spend $200 elsewhere so I found a cheap option that I LOVE!!

The first time I did it I was TERRIBLE!! I just taught my sis when she was in town and she was even worse haha sorry sis. But keep trying! I'd say my second time it took me 10 mins to do both eyes!

I find that at about 2 weeks I fill in some spots and 3-4 weeks they've grown out a bit so I like to remove them all and start fresh! If you try it tag me in your post! I love to see my followers trying things and liking them.

PS!! I thought I'd get smart and buy the real deal lash extension glue... DON'T DO IT!! That is for pro's only and lets get real we aren't pro's ladies!! I like to think I'm a pro at everything and can do anything.. I can't do that! I thought I was going to go blind and my eye was going to swell up. My other sis was in town during that attempt and so kindly showed me horror pics of what I could look like.. It was one to remember. So learn from that great experience and stick with the glue I tagged below. AND  REMEMBER!! Apply to your lashes not your eyelid! :)

Glue

Long Lashes

Medium Lashes

Clear Glue and Starter Kit with tweezers

  Few Questions I've had,

Can you get them wet? Yes technically you can! I try not to get my wet in the shower and things bc it shortens the life span but in hawaii I swam with them and everything! So avoid if you can but you're fine to get them wet!

Any tips for removing? I like to let me fall out naturally but about once a month or month and a half I like to remove them and start fresh, I put Vaseline on them at night and let it sit while Trev and I watch a show are whatever and before I go to bed I gently remove them, that seems to help a bit, sometimes my lashes will come off with them but not bad!
