Valentines day is so so soon! If you are still thinking of an idea for your loved ones here's what I do every year  for Trev. You can take little pieces or do the whole thing. Every year for Valentines Day I do the 5 senses gift bags for Trev. It's been a fun little tradition for him and fun for me to put together. Below are some ideas for each bag, I have to get super creative each year so if some of them are a little out there.. it's because I have no better ideas. If  you have more ideas leave them in the comments below! Also!! Share what you do for your loved ones, I love hearing fun lovey dovey things:) 5 Senses!! Touch:

1. shaving cream or razor (This brand is always good)
2. new clothes
3. watch or new phone if needed
4. gloves
5. Back massage (courteous of me)
6. pedicure gift certificate (trev loves getting his feet pampered while I  get mine painted)
7. Space Pen.. Trev LOVES these pens, Here (when you put the cap on it's a normal size pen) He goes silly over these and I'm not allowed to borrow them because I always lose them ha.
8. Phone Case (HERE)

See:

1. Framed picture of you two
2. picture collage (I usually do a iMovie of all the pictures from the last year)
3. tickets to a show, museum, comedian or movie
4. car wash so his car looks clean
5. New book to read

Hear:

1. iTunes gift card

4. Trev loves instruments so I sometimes get him a guitar strap, pick or any sort of music accessories

Taste:

1. A note that says you're cooking his favorite thing for dinner that night
2. I usually just do a bag of all his favorite little treats and drinks
3. gift card to his favorite restaurant or a new place you've both been wanting to try

Smell:

1. cologne (This is my favorite guy smell)
2. candle (Trev loves when the house smells yummy we get our candles from gatehouse or anthro)
3. air freshener for his car

    Family Home Video- We chase Aniston around the house and say "I'm gonna get you" and "Where's the baby" she usually crawls full speed away and screams at the top of her lungs. She is so much fun. (first time having chocolate)

Also their changing pads are amazing!! And the Nexo stroller is a great option to keep in the car for running errands around town bc of how compact it is! And I just love the look of it. DONUTS- I found this place online, the donuts are really unique and fun but it's not the most glamorous place to sit and eat. Just grab it to go! It's just up the street from the beach so it's perfect. BEACH- Our favorite beach in ca is Santa Monica. The pier has a ferris wheel and lots of other fun things. There's a trail along the shoreline for runners, bikers, rollerbladers, etc.. and it's walking distance from shopping at third street promenade. They also have swings and workout bars on the left side of the pier. FASHION TIP- Color block!! I'm always a fan of color blocking. I usually like when my  lighter color is on the top. So if I'm doing pinks I'll do a mauve on top and a burgundy on the bottom.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

I rarely do giveaways but Gather is one of my favorite baby companies and I love the look of this stroller so I wanted to share with my followers! If you missed the giveaway, details are on my instagram you can find it HERE.

MATS- Love this mat! It's perfect for the beach and for underneath A's high chair. I also laid it out at the airport so A could play on the ground and it was so great.

STROLLER- This stroller looks way nice and is reasonably priced! Things I love about it: to lay it down and bring it back up you only have to use one hand, (that's a big deal to me apparently) It's really compact when collapsed so it's a great option to keep in your trunk for around town and for travel, you can use for your infants, and I love how you can snap the foot part up like I have in pics.

OUTFIT- Soo many emails about my denim, I will be restocking them! I'm just waiting for the designer to finish my production run. They are my favorite pair of torn blue denim and apparently everyone else's too haha.

FAMILY THINGS

Last week was such a great week for our family! Aniston finally did the sign for "more"! She'd always do it halfway but this time it was all the way on her own. She also took her very first 3 STEPS!! We got it on tape and Trev and I both cheered and cried hah. She took 6 more last night!

Trev saw Jerry Seinfeld on the freeway in LA. For those of you that don't know, Trev is a HUGE Jerry Seinfeld fan. So he was in shock for a good 10 minutes. His reaction was priceless and sadly I didn't get it on tape.. (this is mainly for our own memories) but he was wearing his round sunglasses, driving an old orange Porsche. (probably on his way to pick up someone for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee)

As for me, I launched my brand Stevie & Co.!! A lot sold out so fast but I just restocked and you can shop it here. There's lots more to come soon!

Trev's sis who is in The Aces is playing a grammy's party!! So crazy!! They are blowing up.

Oh also we received Aniston's 1st birthday invites today.. I started crying when I opened them. Not ready for her to be 1. (I just got them off of Zazzel.com)

FAVORITE THINGS RIGHT NOW

2. Birthday Box. How have I not heard of THIS before?? The funnest thing for birthdays and so what I need with my busy schedule.
3. I just received my order from this store, Little Panache. I got a leather bow and romper.. super cute!!
4. Saturday Cinnamon Rolls at The Vanilla Bean
5. Watching Gilmore Girls with Trev
6. Showing Aniston any dog we see (She LOVES dogs)
7. Our mail man. He knocked on our door and asked if we were Shop Stevie haha. He's the sweetest old man and I was shocked he knew about Shop Stevie.
8. Online grocery shopping!! I should have put this at the top! It is soo convenient if you have a busy week or don't want to load the kids in and out of the car. All you do is order the items you need, $30 min. (which is so easy to do) choose what time you want to pick it up, park in the front and text them your order number when you get there and they come right out. LIFE CHANGING! haha.
9. Tristen Persons. We got to meet this kid last week and I'm just so impressed. One, he's crazy talented and successful and doing great things and is really artistic but he's so humble and just a really neat person. Grateful to know that kid. Follow him here.

  Valentines Day is almost here!! I like to try to make Valentine’s Day special in a different way each year so it’s something exciting to look forward to! I’m always looking for ways to show Trev how much I truly appreciate him, so I thought maybe this year I would share some of the simple things that I like to do that you can incorporate into your Valentine’s Day to make the holiday more about showing your love than just finding another gift. (I also do the "5 senses" gifts every year and details of that will be coming soon)  

1. 14 Days of Love - it’s not too late to plan a small gift or note for each of the 13 days of February leading up to Valentine’s Day! Go out of your way and make it unique each day so that he knows he is always on your mind.

 

1. Be better for him. Have you heard of the “Week of Extreme Nice?” It’s easy to take advantage of your significant other, and forget how happy they make you. The author of The Happiness Project spends a week being the wife to her husband that she always aspires to be by being extremely nice! I think it’s such a cool way to show your significant other how much he means to you and that you want to be your best for him! Get rid of your bad habits, be positive, and just treat him well!

 

1. What is your significant other’s love language? If you don’t already know, identify it or ask them, then base your day or gift around that! If they’re especially grateful for acts of service, plan to do as much service for them as you can to show your love.

 

1. Make it a day all about him. You will enjoy Valentine’s Day just as much as he will if you spend it doing what he wants because seeing the ones you love happy is the greatest feeling! Make him his favorite meal, play his favorite game, or give him a back scratch! I always like to cook a special dinner just for Trev and have his favorite drink.
