Have you been to a Favorite Things Party? They are such a blast! I love getting introduced to tried-and-true favorites of my friends. It’s so nice to get real reviews and so fun to package up pretty little gifts just for fun.
If you haven’t been to one before, here are a few tips for hosting a Favorite Things Party!
First, set a dollar amount on the price of the gifts. That way you receive something of similar worth to what you spent.
You can have everyone bring one gift, or everyone bring multiple of the same gift, depending on how much you want to spend. When everyone brings multiples, you each get to go home with a variety of new goodies, which is also nice! We just have everyone draw a number and go around the room and choose a gift. I have also done it with a get-to-know-you questionnaire!
My friends and I also talked about creating a theme for our next party, for example, “favorite beauty products,” “favorite kitchen items,” etc.
Keep things simple on the host by having everyone also bring a favorite treat, drink, or snack to munch on before and after the gift swap.
