One Year Of Blogging

Today we ate cake because.. WE’RE CELEBRATING A YEAR OF BLOGGING!!! My goodness it feels like we just started! I can’t thank you guys enough for following and supporting me through this fun journey. You guys are honestly the sweetest and I love you all! Its been so fun meeting some of you throughout the last months and getting so many of the nicest emails!! It makes my day!

I have to say a special thank you to my sweet sweet husband! He has been my biggest fan and supporter. This blog used to be something I day dreamed of and when I was at a breaking point with my buying job we decided to go for it. It was a lot of up front money for us at the time to design my site that who knew if it would even take off or anyone would look at and Trev was all on board. He’s always had so much faith in me and what I set out to do. We thought it would kind of be just a me thing and he would be able to keep doing his music from home, but Trev soon found out that wouldn’t quite be the case.. He set his dreams aside for awhile and became a photographer. He’s too good to me and I don’t know what I did to deserve him. So thank you babe!! I love you so much!! XOXO

Question and Answer Time! (most asked questions over the year)

Q: What has been the hardest part of blogging?

A: Getting ready and trying to look decent when you are in your first trimester of pregnancy… haha literally I just wanted to sleep all day and lay by the toilet.. which did happen often.

But probably in reality it is to not compare where my blog is at compared to other bloggers. Trev has to remind me that we are just starting. At the beginning (and this isn’t Trev’s fault) our pictures looked sooo bad hahah. Now it is funny to look back at them. We just had no idea what we were doing starting out.

Q: What has been the funnest part about blogging?

A: Mostly all of it!! I get to be with Trev all day every day and do what I love. I love fashion and love putting outfits together! And like every other girl.. Shopping! I don’t mind that now I have the excuse of having to shop 🙂

Q: How did you get started?

A: I just started. Ha but really. I decided I was going to do it and I started googling things and looking things up on Pinterest.  I’m no expert though.. I feel like we are still learning and growing so much!

Q: Who takes your pictures?

A: Trev Trev and Trev. Hahah and sometimes local photographers. There are so many out there now. My fav is @marisarosemph She is amazing!! And fast and professional! All pluses.

Q: What is a your biggest blogging tip?

A: Collaborate as much as you can! I’m not the best at this but it is so helpful when getting started! Collaborate with all the different companies you can and try to get reposted on their pages. Do whatever you can to get yourself out there.

I just have to say the thing that has been so heart warming so far is learning and seeing how caring my followers are. I get so many kind emails everyday. A few people DM’d me to make sure the baby was doing okay because at the time I hadn’t posted anything about it in awhile and it brought me to tears. It meant so much to me! I feel like I have a huge support group that genuinely care about me not just about what I’m wearing. You guys make me feel like I have a bunch of friends that I just haven’t met yet. Haha. I can’t express how grateful I am for all of you!!
