Wishing you all a new year!

I love the start of a new year. Trev and I love looking back and recapping all that has happened. This year has been by far our busiest. Filled with love, hard work, adventures.. and most importantly our sweet Aniston came to our family. I'm excited to set new goals and work to be better.

The two biggest things I've learned from this last year.

Kids bring great blessings. I didn't know I could love as much as I love my little Aniston. She is what makes life worth it. And Trev too of course. I also didn't know I could love Trev anymore but the day Aniston came I fell in love with Trev all over again.

Work hard!! With hard work comes much successI hope I'm always a hard worker but boy I hope I never work as hard as I did this year. haha maybe that not a good thing. I feel like Trev and I's business went from a small business to a big company this year and we (as well as our amazing team) have worked so hard!! It's so important that whatever we decide to do that we give it our all and kick some butt! Whatever you do, do it good and you will be blessed.

Do all that you can do and for the stuff you can't do, forget about it. Trev had to help me with this one this year. I felt like being a mom took so much time and I didn't have as much time as I was used to, to do all that I did before our baby was born. AND THAT'S OKAY! As long as I tried everything that I could that's good enough and if all I did was nurse Aniston one day, that's good enough. My most important roll is being a mom and as long as I was a good mom to Aniston I accomplished what I needed to that day.

This is super short and there's much more I learned but I'll share it another time!

Happy goal setting time!!

Xx

That's the look she gets when she knows she's not suppose to touch the tree and Mama's always watching her934a7417 934a7412 934a7414

A lot of people asked about tree details from my snapchats (see below)

Pajamas // A's Pajamas // Tree Decor

It's not Christmas unless you have family pajamas:) I feel like with Christmas Pajamas you have to get them in October or you're already to late! It's crazy! Everywhere sells out so fast. But I'm always impressed with Targets selection and they are usually priced pretty reasonably. This store is super cute too! It's just a bit higher priced. Here

As some of you know I got in a car accident last week.. Luckily I was alone and no one got hurt! Let's just say I officially need to go back to driving school and may my poor car rest in peace. I was of course on my way to Hobby Lobby.. The only way Trev get's out of running errands with me is when I go to Hobby Lobby..  Trev is usually always with me and so I never drive.. when I do apparently it's not the best thing. Anyways my spirits were a little down the next day and I didn't want to go anywhere in a car.. so we spent the day at home wrapping gifts.

All about my TREE!!

I had lots of questions about my tree decorations from my snap story so here it is! Everything is from Gatehouse, HERE one of my favorite home furniture stores. I went to a wreath decorating class that they had at their showroom this year by Alison from The Alison Show. And it's really what inspired my tree so I'll share some things I learned.  And I wasn't planning on sharing this so I didn't take notes so this outline is just what I got from it, not the outline of the class, the class was much better!! The class was for wreaths but really everything applied to decorating a tree as well.

**don't stay within the lines. a tree is a triangle and  you want to keep the shape but add demention. It's okay to not stick within the strict lines of the tree. Have things that come out and change the shape a little bit with still keeping a triangle. So if you're going to have sticks coming out, do the thicker ones and bigger ones at the bottom and smaller at the top. You want it to be balanced at the same time.

**MORE MORE MORE! If you know and follow Alison you'll know she's a lot! And that's why people love her. More is always better. (I'm still not done with my tree and Trev laughs because I'm always adding something to it or wanting to go back to gatehouse)

**Shapes & Ornaments. don't limit yourself to one shape and don't limit your self to just ornaments. I think they call it foliage. flowers, leaves, sticks, berries, etc...

**Theme/Colors: I wanted my tree to flow with the colors I have in my house as well as my tree skirt I got last year. I just stuck within the color pallet of my home and added some burgundy to tie in my tree skirt.

**Expense. Start somewhere. Gatehouse prices weren't bad at all and every year they have a killer black Friday sale. This year the week of black Friday they were 50% off. I learned not to go cheap. I find that I'm much more excited and feel good about what I get when it's what I truly like instead of trying to substitute with something cheap and not as cute and nice. I'm usually over it the next year and want something better when I try to go for the cheaper stuff. I say get what you love and can do even if it's just a few things and then add to it each year. Shop the sale at gatehouse. I'm not sure if they'll do an after Christmas sale but that's usually a great time to shop as well.

Shop Stevie Rep

Posted · 4 Comments
Hi Guys! I've had soo many questions about how to become a Shop Stevie Rep and what it entails so this post hopefully can help answer some of your questions!

Shop Stevie Background

Trev and I started our clothing store just under two years ago and it was great for us and our little family. It's grown quickly and we've been able to expand in some really fun ways. We have an amazing team behind us now helping out with the day to day items and Trev has his hands full with managing our online portion and I'm busy picking out and designing pieces for our store.

What is a Rep?

A rep basically buys Shop Stevie inventory at a wholesale price and sells to their friends, families, neighbors.. anybody and everybody. You get to pick your inventory from our wholesale site, we ship it to you and then it's all yours to sell. We provide you with online stores to sell your inventory and take care of all the taxes and some other nitty gritty things.

Why this route?

We get this question a lot! It's super crazy how this all came about.. I would get at least 5 emails a day of people wanting to start their own business like I have. It was super fun to see so many people wanting to have their own shop. As I replied back to as many people as I had time for I tried to encourage them to go for it and keep up their motivation to start their own thing. Part of me felt guilty for not warning them of how much work it is at the same time. When I started Shop Stevie, Trev was doing music and I thought, this could be "my thing".. I was dead wrong. I completely underestimated how much work it was. A few weeks in and Shop Stevie became "our thing", full time. There were so many things we had to learn the hard and slow way. So many things to stay up on like taxes and paying/collecting taxes, and accepting credit card payments and licensing..

We had someone approach us with this 'business in a box' idea a year ago and we loved it! At the time Trev and I were just 6 months in with our business and it was growing fast, we knew this would add a ton of work for us. Someone asked us "how busy do you want to be?" That hit me pretty hard. I knew this concept would work and be successful for us but more importantly I knew it could bless other people's lives and homes as well. I thought of the girls that email me, wanting to do something like this and I got excited. The more I thought about it realistically I thought I would do this eventually but not right now. I knew we'd soon start a family and be busy with that on top of our business. Trev and I, and our few employee's wouldn't be able to manage everything at the time.

3 months later... Trev and I are pregnant and starting this "business in a box", Rep Program. haha. Long story short, we were creating a skincare line and our investor for the skincare line knew about our store and this idea and quickly became our business partner and CEO for Shop Stevie. (He's the best CEO anyone could ever dream of) We have an amazing team behind all this to make it a great thing and it's been incredible to see our Reps be successful and owning all of their own shops. As for Trev and I, we're still alive.. We worked our CANS off getting this thing to go, all at the same time as Aniston was born. Our team has all worked so hard and I'm so grateful for them.

Is There A Cap on How Many Reps?

YES!!! I want our reps to be successful and too many can cause a saturated market so we do put a cap on our active reps based on where you live. We have reps spread all throughout the US as far as the Virgin Islands.

Where to get started?

If you go to this site HERE, www.stevierep.com you can schedule a call to get more info and sign up if you'd like!

In doing this we hope that we give our reps something they love to do. Something that they feel like they can do for themselves and for those of them with families, contribute to their families.

I hope all my rep girls right now know how much I love them and am so excited for them!! It's so fun hearing your stories and just becoming friends with you. I know there are a lot of you I haven't met yet but I'm excited to get to meet all of you soon!

Xx,

Stevie
